On July 28, the Atlantic Council Turkey Programs and Atlantic Council’s Europe Center organized the launch of a joint report on Electrification of the Road Transportation Sector in Europe, and the Case of Italy, in Milan. The report, authored by Pier Paolo Raimondi, a researcher at the Energy, Climate and Resources program at Instituto Affari Internazionali, assesses Italy’s progress in road transportation electrification and changes in technology and political environment that enable new progress.
The panel featured; Andrea Andreuzzi, Energy and Sustainable Development Senior Advisor, Confindustria; Francesco Naso, Secretary General, MOTUS-E; Pier Paolo Raimondi, Researcher, Energy, Climate and Resources Program, Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI); and Nicola De Sanctis, Chairman, Electrip Global. The panel was moderated by Automotive Journalist Mario Cianflone. The event kicked off with opening remarks by Defne Arslan, Senior Director, Atlantic Council Turkey Programs, and Sinan Ak, CEO, electrip global.
