Alexandra Clare is a 2024 Millennium fellow and is passionate about harnessing technology to promote economic prosperity in the wake of conflict. She co-founded Re:Coded, a social venture aimed toward generating more inclusive education and financial systems and improving resilience for displaced populations. Prior to Re:Coded, Clare worked at the intersection of humanitarian advocacy, innovation, and law, working for organizations such as New York University (NYU), the Office of the UN Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, Human Rights Watch, and the New South Wales Department of Public Prosecutions. Clare’s work has been featured on CNN, Vogue, TechCrunch, and BBC. Recognized for her contributions, she received the Women in Tech Global Award (2021), NYU’s Changemaker of the Year Award (2021), and Australian National University’s (ANU) Alumni of the Year Award (2020). Holding a master’s degree in international affairs from NYU and a bachelor’s degree in law and development studies from ANU, Clare remains dedicated to leveraging her expertise for positive global change.
