Kerri Selby is a 2024 Millennium fellow and holds a position at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where she manages multimillion-dollar programs within the Agile Mission Systems group. She focuses on advancing capabilities to address counterterrorism initiatives and other prevalent global threats, and on enhancing surveillance, precision, and resilience for international stakeholders. Prior to her current role, Selby worked in venture capital, specializing in artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things, and cybersecurity with prominent technology investors like Future Energy Ventures and Wilo in Berlin. During this time, she conducted risk-oriented analyses for startup investments and authored research papers on cutting-edge technology trends. Selby earned her master’s degree in global studies from Humboldt University of Berlin in 2018. Her thesis explored globalization’s impact on governance structures and potential use cases for technologies like artificial intelligence in government and underscores the ever-evolving needs for technology governance.
