Junaid Nabi is a Millennium fellow at the Atlantic Council and a physician, health systems researcher, and writer. Nabi is an internationally recognized expert on health policy, digital health, and healthcare strategy. As an immigrant, he has a unique perspective on living between nations and bringing attention to the needs of the underserved communities. As a senior researcher at Harvard Business School, Nabi is examining how competitive strategy concepts can transform care delivery and promote health equity. His previous research projects have included investigating health system factors that lead to racial disparities, evaluating the economic impact of innovative medical technologies, and developing policy frameworks to address machine bias in automated medical decision-making systems. As an Emerging Leaders Fellow with the United Nations Association of the USA in spring 2020, he led the development of educational collaborations on COVID-19 response. Nabi is a 40 Under 40 Leader in Health and STAT Wunderkind, and has won several awards for his research and humanitarian work.
