Macire Aribot is a program assistant with the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center, working to advance culture and creative industries, diaspora engagement, and prosperity.

Prior to the Atlantic Council, Aribot served as a program associate for the National Democratic Institute, where she worked to strengthen government transparency, electoral processes, and youth political and civil society leadership in Central and West Africa and Southern and East Africa. She is also the co-founder and co-executive director of NoirUnited International, a global development and humanitarian organization focused on developing community-based interventions for emerging challenges facing African communities. Aribot is a graduate from Columbia University’s School of International Affairs, where she received her Master of International Affairs in economic and political development with a specialization in African studies. She received her bachelor of arts in international affairs and global development studies from Mercer University.
